Motor Skill Development
A motor skill is simply an action that involves child body movements using their muscles.
The functions of the above seven nutrients are summarized as follows:
- Gross Motor Skill Development: involves larger group of muscles like walk, jump etc.
- Fine Motor Skill Development: involves smaller group of muscles like grip etc.
Recreation
it is defined as the act of refreshment of the mind, body or spirit through play and relaxation.
Selection of tactics
Tactics means an action or strategy carefully planned to achieve a specific end.
Compositional ideas
Compositional means "put together“. Any mixture of ingredients.
Knowledge of fitness
The condition of being physically fit and healthy.
Understanding health & hygiene
Children develop personal hygiene and selfcare skills.
Improving performance
Modifying the process or procedure to increase the output.

Procedure
- Divide the players in two teams A & B.
- When command is given by the teacher, Team A & B will try to hit the target.
Scoring
The team who hits the target maximum times will be declared as winner.

Equipment
Hula hoops, Basketball (3-6)
Procedure
- First divide the group in two or more than two teams.
- Keeps all balls in center.
- Make starting point for teams at same distance.
- When teacher will say GO then first player of all teams will run and bring the ball and come back to starting area then second player run to bring ball of all team.
Scoring
The team who will have maximum balls in their hoop will win.
Aim
It helps to improve team coordination and team work.
Set up
Need open and plain area of 5 x 5 meters.
Procedure
- Divide the players in two teams A & B.
- When Command Start is given by the teacher, Team A will try to drop the cone and Team B will try to raise the cones in one minute.
Scoring
The team will whose cones will be more raise (drop) will be declared as winner.

Equipment
Procedure
30 Scarf / bibs
- Warm up 10 min.
- All the students have to tuck their bibs at the waist.
- On the command "go" students have to stanch the opponent player bibs and save own.
- Cooling down of 5 min with stretching exercises.
Scoring
Student who will save its bib till the end will be the winner.
Aim
It helps to improve the compositional ideas and target ability
Set up
Need open and plain area of 20 x 20 meters.
Equipment
hula hoops, plastic balls and cones.
Procedure
- This teambuilding - type game will really get the students moving and working together
- Two player will build a hut of one team.
- The other team's players will try to make the hut fall apart, by rolling the ball of plastic or hitting it directly from a given place.
Instruction
- Each team get three chances.
Scoring
The team whose hut will be intact till the end of 1 minute will be the winner.
Aim
It helps to improve reaction time.
Set up

Procedure
- Both the students will face each other and stand at the distance of 1 meter.
- One Student will drop the ball and another student have to catch the ball by single or double hand.
Scoring
Student will drop the ball 10 times and how many catches are taken will be counted as a score.

Equipment
hula hoops and cones
Procedure
- This teambuilding relay - type game will really get the students moving and working together.
- Create teams and have 1 Student from each team start behind a cone with a hula hoop, facing his teammates across from him at the opposite cone.
- On the signal, the students with the hula hoops will run across their teammates and "save" or “rescue” the first person in line by placing the hula hoop over them.
- Then the two must travel together back to the original cone. The one who was rescued then becomes the rescuer and continues on to save the next person, etc. until all students have been saved and brought to the starting point.
Scoring
The team which saves all their students first will be the winner.
Aim
It helps in improving combination of movement skills and literacy.
Procedure
- The students move around in a space.
- when the teachers calls out a letter (e x ample: "L") then the students must find the nearest person, quickly partner up, get down on the floor, and use their bodies to make the shape of the letter together to spell it.
- Then get them moving again and call out another letter. Again and again
Scoring
Team who will makes all commanded alphabet ASAP will be the winner.
Aim
It helps to improve the speed, reaction and listening ability.
Set up

Procedure
- Students spread out in the playing area.
- Give maybe 20-30 seconds for them to just run around and around (or skip, hop, gallop, spin, etc.).
- When the time is right, the teacher call out a number (example, “SIX !”) and then the students must quickly form groups of 6.
- Any students who didn’t make a group must complete 6 jumping jacks or exercise of choice.

- In this tag game, few students are made “snow man” & few as "sun"
- Students who are tagged through snow man have to freeze on the place.
- The sun will go around melting the snowflakes so they can get back into the game.

Procedure
- There will be two or more than two teams will stand in single line and every student has to hold the side partners hand.
- First student of the line will bring the hula hoop pass it from the body to the side partner.

Team who will complete the chain will be the winner.
Aim
It helps to improve the agility and team building.
Set up

Procedure
- Both the teams have to stand in queue and feet apart more than shoulder width.
- One student will be “lizard” & stand at the starting point and one at the back of queue.
- On the command "GO" starting student have to crawl between the leg and reach to the end point and another student is standing at the last of queue will crawl forward between the leg.
Scoring
The team who finishes the race 1st will be the winner.
Aim

Procedure
- Students have to create a circle and hold their hands.
- On the command "jump in" students have to jump one step forward in the circle; on the command "jump out" students have to jump one step outward.
- After practicing, teacher will add two more commands; on the command "jump left" students have to take one small jump towards the left side and on the command "jump right" students have to jump right side.
Scoring
The group which performs all the commands correctly will win the game.

Procedure
- Both the teams will stand in queue format and every one have hula hoop.
- Teams will stand at a specific restricted line and at the some distance place the specific cone for each team.
- On the command "GO" students have to put the hoops in specific cone.

- Students have to stand in circle and facing right side.
- When teacher says "apple", student have to jump one step forward; on the command of "banana", students have to take one step backward and on the command "orange", students have to take 180 degree step from their position.

- On the command of "walk", students have to walk and on the command "stop", students have to stop.

- Students will stand in queue format.
- On the command go 1st student of line will teach some body expression to back player then one by one all the students do body expression and teach to back player.
- Last student in line will come in front of every one and perform the body expression with out saying any word.

Procedure
- Students have to make a group of 5 or according to the availability of group and give them a specific paper.
- Place the papers on the floor.
- On the command "GO" Students have to stand on the paper.
- After every trial paper should be fold in half.

The pair which remains on paper till end will be the winner.
Aim
It helps to improving the compositional and critical ideas.
Set up

Procedure
- Students have to come in groups of 10 or 8.
- Students have to make close or compact circle and hold and partner hands.
- Students have to come out from the circle with out breaking their hand chain.

The group who solves the puzzle first will win the game.
Aim

Balloons and thread
Procedure
- All the students have to tie up the balloons at the ankle.
- On the command "GO" students have to burst the opponents balloons by the using of leg only.
Scoring
Student who saves own balloon at the last of the game will be the winner.
Aim
It helps to improve the agility and team building.
Set up
Need open and plain area 20 x 20 meter.
Procedure
- Students will stand in a circle.
- When the teacher says that 'fire in the mountain' then the children will run in a circle and say that Run Run Run.
- After that, teacher will say a number from 0 to 10 and children have to pause at 0 and become a statue at 1 and make group at number of 2 to 10.
- Those children who are unable to form a group will be out of the game.
Scoring
The pair which remains till end will win.
Aim
Improve neuromuscular coordination and strength.
Procedure
- Students will make pair and stand in a circle.
- There will be two different students on any two parts, one of which will try to catch the one behind the back.
- The one who was running ahead would form a pair with any pair without touching it, but as soon as they joined, a player of that pair would have to break the pair and run away.
